Types of data collected

Among the Personal Data collected by this Application, either autonomously or through third parties, there are: Cookies and Usage Data.

Other Personal Data collected may be described in other sections of this privacy policy or by dedicated explanation text shown at the point the Data is collected. Personal Data may be entered voluntarily by the User, or collected automatically while using this Application. The User takes responsibility for the Personal Data of third parties published or shared through this Application, and declares to have the right to communicate or disseminate it, releasing the Controller from any liability towards third parties.

How and where the collected data is processed

Method of processing

The Controller processes Users' Personal Data adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction of the Personal Data. Processing is carried out using computer and/or telematic tools, with organisational methods and logic strictly related to the stated purposes.

In addition to the Controller, in some cases the Data may be accessible to categories of persons in charge involved in the organisation of the site (administrative, sales, marketing, legal staff, system administrators) or to external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies), appointed where necessary as Data Processors by the Controller. The updated list of Processors may always be requested from the Data Controller.

Retention time

The Data is processed for as long as is necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or as required by the purposes described in this document, and the User may always request that processing be interrupted or the Data erased.

Purposes of the processing of collected data

The User's Data is collected to allow the Controller to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes: Statistics, Access to third-party accounts, Interaction with social networks and external platforms, and Displaying content from external platforms.

Facebook permissions requested by this Application

This Application may request certain Facebook permissions allowing it to perform actions with the User's Facebook account and to collect information, including Personal Data, from it. For more information on the permissions below, refer to the Facebook permissions documentation and to Facebook's privacy policy.

Basic information

The basic information of the User registered on Facebook, normally including the following Data: id, name, picture, gender and localisation language and, in some cases, the User's Facebook “Friends”. If the User has made further Data publicly available, that Data will be available.

Access to friend lists

Provides access to the friend lists the User has created.

Access to third-party accounts

These services allow this Application to retrieve Data from your accounts on third-party services and to perform actions with it. These services are not activated automatically, but require the User's express authorisation.

Facebook account access (this Application) — This service allows this Application to connect with the User's account on the Facebook social network, provided by Facebook, Inc. Permissions requested: Access to friend lists. Place of processing: USA.

Interaction with social networks and external platforms

These services allow interaction with social networks, or with other external platforms, directly from the pages of this Application. The interactions and information obtained by this Application are in all cases subject to the User's privacy settings for each social network. Where a social-network interaction service is installed, it is possible that — even if Users do not use the service — it collects traffic data for the pages on which it is installed.

Google+ +1 button and social widgets (Google Inc.) — Personal Data collected: Cookies and Usage Data. Place of processing: USA.

Statistics

The services in this section allow the Data Controller to monitor and analyse traffic data, and serve to keep track of User behaviour.

Google Analytics (Google Inc.) — Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses the Personal Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, compile reports and share them with other services developed by Google. Google may use the Personal Data to contextualise and personalise the advertisements of its own advertising network. Personal Data collected: Cookies and Usage Data. Place of processing: USA.

Displaying content from external platforms

These services allow content hosted on external platforms to be displayed directly from the pages of this Application and to be interacted with. Where such a service is installed, it is possible that — even if Users do not use the service — it collects traffic data for the pages on which it is installed.

YouTube video widget without cookies (Google Inc.) — YouTube is a video content display service operated by Google Inc. that allows this Application to embed such content within its pages. This widget is configured so that YouTube does not store information and cookies about Users on this Application, unless they play the video. Personal Data collected: Usage Data. Legal defence

The User's Personal Data may be used by the Controller for legal defence in court or in the stages leading to possible legal action, arising from improper use of this Application or of the connected services by the User. The User declares to be aware that the Controller may be required to disclose the Data at the request of public authorities.

Specific notices

At the User's request, in addition to the information contained in this privacy policy, this Application may provide the User with additional and contextual notices concerning specific services, or the collection and processing of Personal Data.

System logs and maintenance

For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third-party services it uses may collect system logs, that is files recording interactions, which may also contain Personal Data such as the User's IP address.

Further information about the processing of Personal Data may be requested from the Data Controller at any time using the contact details.

Exercise of rights by Users

The persons to whom the Personal Data refers have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of whether such Data is held by the Data Controller, to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or to ask for it to be supplemented, erased, updated, corrected, converted into anonymous form or blocked where processed unlawfully, and in any case to object to its processing on legitimate grounds. Requests should be addressed to the Data Controller.

This Application does not support “Do Not Track” requests. To find out whether any third-party services used support them, consult their privacy policies.

Changes to this privacy policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time, giving notice to Users on this page. Please therefore consult this page often, taking as reference the date of last modification indicated at the bottom.

If a User does not accept the changes made to this privacy policy, the User must cease using this Application and may request that the Data Controller remove their Personal Data. Unless otherwise stated, the previous privacy policy will continue to apply to the Personal Data collected up to that point.

Definitions and legal references

Personal Data (or Data) — Any information relating to a natural person, identified or identifiable, even indirectly, by reference to any other information, including a personal identification number.

Usage Data — Information collected automatically by this Application (or by third-party applications this Application uses), including: the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the User connecting to this Application, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server's response (successful, error, etc.), the country of origin, the features of the browser and operating system used by the visitor, the various time details of the visit (for example the time spent on each page) and the details of the path followed within the Application, with particular reference to the sequence of pages consulted, and to parameters relating to the User's operating system and IT environment.

User — The individual using this Application, who must coincide with, or be authorised by, the Data Subject, and whose Personal Data is the subject of the processing.

Data Subject — The natural or legal person to whom the Personal Data refers.

This Application — The hardware or software tool through which Users' Personal Data is collected.

Cookie — A small piece of data stored within the User's device.
